Chihuahua Mural
4Gs on Broadway Mexican Restaurant commissioned me to paint a mural in their courtyard. The chihuahua is a portrait of the owner's beloved pet. So much fun to do and they have the best tacos and happy hour! The stucco was a bear to work with and it rained every evening, but Chula turned out pretty great!

7/20 Memorial Aurora Theater Shooting
I am honored to announce that July 23rd, 2022 I will be a Chalk Artist at this memorial event. Ten years ago one of the deadliest mass shootings in Colorado occurred just a few miles from our home at the premier of the Batman movie in our local theatre. My son's friends were at the movie. One was shot in the neck, but survived. I think about how if my kid hadn't been sick, he would have been in that theatre, too. Much healing and awareness has happened in the community since then. But much more is needed in our nation.
Come out and honor and help. Come out and enjoy the family friendly activities. Come check out the Beer Garden and the live art.
Below is the link for the event.
I will be creating a rendition of a phoenix, titled Up From The Ashes.
Mardi Gras Gala , February 19 2022
Laissez les bon temps roullez! In February I got do a live painting for Mullen High School's fundraising event, the Mardi Gras Gala. It was a super fun time, although a little nerve-racking since the painting was auctioned off live at the event. We were able to bring in several thousand $$ with this piece. Money raised at the gala goes toward tuition assistance for students. The artwork is titled "Portal". It symbolizes a student entering Mullen and passing through to the wider world. The colors are reminiscent of the chapel stained glass.
Denver 9news Parade of Lights
December 2021, Jon Fuqua and I sang at the Parade of Lights. Always a fun event, we were part of Corner Cafe Radio Show's line up of artists.

The King, a family friendly Christmas movie premiered on several platforms in December. I played an angel. The show is kid friendly, cute, and tells the birth story of Jesus.
Extreme Community Makeover
November 11, 2021 The charity, ECM, hosted their annual fundraiser, Art Is In The Air. For the past few years I have donated art for their auction. ECM is an organization that works to improve various Denver area neighborhoods through building relationships and improvement projects.
Tiny Art Show
I had a few pieces at theTiny Art Show in November 2021 at Spectra Art Space. A super fun show where every piece was 6x6 or smaller! The immersive experience Novo Ita was also being exhibited and was an amazing display of multi media art!
CHristmas Movie!
Earlier this year I had a chance to audition for a part in a short Christmas film. I went to the audition and read for the part they asked me to do. A week later I got a call from one of the filmmakers and she said they had chosen someone else for the part. BUT the director really liked my presence so they had written a new scene with a new character with me in mind and would I like to do it? What!!?! I am humbled and thankful for the opportunity. The makers are hoping the show will be well-received and aiming for it to be a pilot with more episodes later. They are also making a comic which includes my character, a quirky angel. The film is family friendly and faith-based. It will be release on Pureflix and some other platforms. To be released December 2021.

Two art Shows on Labor Day Weekend!
Saturday, September 4 was the Opening reception for For the Record Art Show at Spectra Art Space. The show was super fun and so good to see people getting to see live art! All art for this event was created on or used vinyl records, CDs, and tapes.
Sunday September 5 at the RiNo Showcase at Number Thirty Eight was a rocking affair. 50 artists and six bands and such a great venue. A perfect way to spend some of the holiday weekend.
anti-ageism birthday card campaign
In the beginning of 2021, I got to create a card for the organization, Changing the Narrative. They commissioned a diverse group of artists to design birthday cards that celebrate age and not cast aging in a negative light. I am privileged to be part of their campaign against ageism. CtN is partnering with Hope Tank, a social enterprise gift store in Denver. You can check out the cards and purchase at hopetank.org .
Bible illustrations for Gaza Works
In April 2021 I wrapped up a series of Bible illustrations for Gaza Works (formerly World Relief Mozambique). Gaza Works is an organization that helps people develop sustainable agricultural practices in Mozambique and surrounding area. They will use copies of these artworks on the mission field to present the gospel of Jesus. They wanted art that would depict representations of people in the Bible in a more culturally connective way, not your typical "westernized" version of Jesus. The original illustrations will be auctioned off to raise funds for Gaza Works.

let the adventure begin artwalk
This is the second year I have created a window mural at Orchard Town Center in Westminster, Colorado. The theme for the 2021 Artwalk is " Let the Adventure Begin!" The opening of the artwalk is Saturday, June 12 and murals will be up from June to October 2021. The title of my mural is "The Sky's The Limit!" As part of the Artwalk, I also painted two Adirondack chairs which will be auctioned off for charity.
